Fix shaky or blurry footage
Which lever fixes which problem — and what to leave alone.
- 1
Shaky footage
Turn on Stabilize. It measures your camera's actual shake first: handheld wobble gets smoothed, while tripod footage and intentional pans pass through untouched — stabilization never fights a deliberate move.
- 2
Motion blur
Motion deblur reconstructs sharp frames from the neighbouring ones — best for footage where movement smeared the details.
- 3
Soft, compressed, or low-quality video
Cinema restore is the deep fix: a diffusion model re-synthesizes texture, faces and edges. Text, logos and eyes are automatically kept true to your original.

Noise and grain
The Denoise lever handles sensor noise; speech gets its own cleanup on the audio side. If you plan to add film grain with a reference grade, denoise first — grain should be a choice, not an accident.
